Indian Valley Community Supper!

The Indian Valley Community Supper is the last Monday of each month. It is located at the Methodist Church but is entirely non-denominational. Josie Litchfield and Indian Valley Resource Center started the dinners about 10 years ago when it was noticed that it was hard for families to go out for an affordable meal at restaurants. At the time there were also Community Suppers in both Chester and Quincy, but not here in Greenville. Each dinner is sponsored (food is prepared and served) by a different community groups- this could be a church, business, or group of friends. We usually feed about 100 people. There is a suggested donation of $5 for adults and $2 for children, all money raised at the door is used to buy the food for next month's supper. Josie and her husband coordinate the dinner, with help from Marsha Roby and Indian Valley Recreation and Parks District
