IVRPD Volunteer Board:
IVRPD is run by a volunteer board consisting of five members. Each member serves a 4 year term unless they cannot due to unforseen circumstances. The board meets once a month at the community center to hold public meetings where decisions are made on programming, etc.
Current Board Members:
Laura Kearns- Interim Board Chair &
Volunteer Pool Manager (Secretary)

Laura joined the Board in 2017 and is representing the Indian Valley Community Pool located in
Taylorsville. She is a full time mom and wife and loves to volunteer her "extra" time to the community. In 2020, Laura became the Interim Board Chair. She brings with her many years of expertise in community building and has been instrumental in keeping the IVRPD Community Center alive.

Matt Cerney - Board Member & Community Member of the Year 2020
Matt joined the board October 2011. He lives in Greenville with his Blue Russian cat Gilligan. He joined the board because he truly cares about the health and wellness of the Indian Valley Community. Serving on the board allows him an opportunity to be actively engaged in facilitating this effort. He works full-time as a Fuels Officer in wildfire management on the Lassen National Forest in Chester (U.S. Forest Service). Much of his work involves planning and implementing forest/watershed health improvement projects under the National Environmental Policy Act guidelines (NEPA). He is an avid cyclist who thoroughly enjoys the beauty of Indian Valley, everything surrounding it, and the community within. Matt spends a lot of his time maintaining the IV Community Center grounds and buildlings.

Joshua Henc - Board Member
Josh joined the IVRPD Board in October 2020. He is the Pastor at Indian Valley Christian Fellowship in Greenville.
"Most of my time outside of church responsibilities and community involvement is spent with our family. We love the beautiful surroundings here in Indian Valley and we like to visit playgrounds, go on nature hikes and bike rides as well as frequenting our local thrift stores!"

Judy Leland - Board Member
We moved to Indian Valley in Feb 2003. I have been involved, and on the pool committee, since 2013 with
my priority being with the water Aroebics program. I'm still on the team helping with the planning. I also volunteer
with the open swim program. 2020 was our biggest challenge with fewer programs due to covid and fewer teachers
available, I helped teach the water Aroebics program. With Laura Kearns leadership, we were able to have a
successful year. I enjoy being a part of the IVRPD family and hope to be able to continue with more programs.
