The pool was built in 1961 as a club pool. It was shut down for long while until the funds were raised to renovate it and reopen it as a community pool. Since it has reopened it has provided a safe place to swim for all ages, swimming lessons, water aerobics and a place to have parties. It is also handicap accessible.
The pool has also provided employment for kids in Indian Valley who are trained as lifeguards.
For years the pool has been managed by volunteers who devote their summer to keeping it open. This year it is again managed by a committee of dedicated volunteers.
Put on your swim gear and meet us at the pool this summer!
